In Aero República we are incorporating one of the most modern fleets in the world consisting of modern Embraer 190LR, aircraft which interior setting is 106 seats in single class, leather seats, with large space between each seat.

Embraer 190

Aero Republica is today the airline with the newest and most modern fleet in the Americas, among the airlines that provide international services after acquiring its new Embraer 190 aircraft. In December 2006, Aero Republica began its process of renewal of new fleet, these aircraft with brand new, 0 miles, from the factory in Brazil with a capacity for 106 passengers, the Embraer 190 incorporate advanced designs and 100% twenty-first century technology , and optimal standards of quality, safety and convenience for its users, while care for and protect the environment

Therefore, the most important contribution of Aero Republica with the environment has been the completion and renovation of its fleet. The Embraer 190 in excess meet the exacting standards that govern today regarding noise levels and achieve a substantial reduction in the emission of polluting gases from the atmosphere, serving a wide margin allowed limits.

The EMBRAER 190 aircraft also achieve significant reductions in CO2 emissions by at least 50% compared to conventional aircraft of the same type as the MD fleet, against which the new EMBRAER 190 aircraft have lowered Aero República still above 50% in emissions.

Also new Embraer 190 aircraft can save 33% of fuel per flight hour, compared to other fleets of earlier generations.

Copa Airlines operates one of the most modern fleets in the world, consisting of Boeing 737-700 and 800 aircraft and Embraer 190ARs. The Boeing 737-700 planes are configured with 124 seats, 12 in Business Class and 112 in the main cabin.

Copa Airlines has a fleet of modern Boeing 737-700 and Boeing 737-800. Both aircraft models are equipped with high-capacity overhead storage bins, and a state of the art on-board entertainment system. Our planes are also equipped with high-tech “winglets” that greatly improve their performance, making them more efficient, more quietly and reducing fuel consumption up to 3.5%. In addition, the winglets help the environment by reducing noise and pollution.

Embraer 190AR

In recent years, Copa Airlines added the modern Embraer 190AR aircraft to its fleet. The EMB 190 features the latest advances in technology, such as winglets; efficient, powerful General Electric CF34-10E engines; and the latest in Honeywell Corporation aviation equipment. The addition of this plane to Copa's fleet allows the airline to balance capacity and demand in smaller markets that are served more efficiently with a 94-seat aircraft.

Blended Winglet Technology

Copa was the first airline in Latin America to operate the Boeing 737-700 and -800 aircraft with this groundbreaking technology. Winglets improve aircraft performance and increase flight efficiency, reducing fuel consumption by 3.5%. In addition, winglets help the environment by reducing noise and pollution.

VSD Technology

Copa is the first airline in America to utilize Vertical Situation Display (VSD) and the Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning system on all its airplanes. These sophisticated tools give the pilot a clear picture of the airplane's flight path, calculating its altitude, speed and position, and displaying the information in integrated, easy-to-interpret graphics.
